Clean the brush roll regularly.
This is the most exposed of eureka vacuum cleaner parts. The brush roll can be cleaned of hair and debris by removing three or four screws at the bottom of the machine. Lift out the brush roll and use manual brush and soap to remove dirt and dust before replacing it. Keep the screws dry, do not put any oil on it since it will just cause dust and dirt to stick there.
This is the most part to be frequently replaced of eureka vacuum cleaner parts. You are to change the vacuum bag regularly or at certain interval of time. Most Eureka vacuum comes with a full bag indicator light to help you know when it is time to replace the bag.
Replace the Belt.
For this one better to bring your machine to nearest service centre if you are not sure you can do it yourself. This part of eureka vacuum cleaner parts is very rare to easily get broken.
Although the manual instruction book would had to say something like: “You can replace the belt yourself, it is easy to do, remove three or four screws at the bottom of the cleaner. Take out the brush roll, remove old belt and replace with new one”.
